This was an interesting assignment. I enjoyed the challenge but definitely didn’t enjoy the subject matter. I was almost sick to my stomach when reading about this dark time in East St. Louis. It’s another eye opening moment in history that reminds us to just love one another and treat EVERYONE with love and the respect we’d want for ourselves. You can learn more at Wikipedia or just Googling 1917 race riots in East St. Louis.

Here was a fun illustration for Outside Magazine’s website to go with a story about one of their writers going to a Happy Summit in Florida. I think the image speaks for itself.
New Illustration for GQ magazine
This was a fun piece I got to do for GQ magazine. Best part is I’m a subscriber and so getting the issue I’m worked for in the mail is super cool as always.

New illustration for Nickelodeon
I did this fun postcard for a Nickelodeon event as part of Super Bowl 51 weekend. Nickelodeon approached me to create this image for the back of a postcard promoting their Superstar Slime Showdown. It’s always fun to draw people doing action things.

New Illustration Series for Men’s Health
Here was a really fun series I did for Men’s Health magazine. It’s a feature about ways to avoid the end of the world ruining your day. Always fun working with Men’s Health. Tips to help you during your backyard BBQ with meteorite plummeting toward earth, walking your dog through a riot, or enjoying a drink on the beach while a shark and bee attack is happening.
New Illustration series for Prevention Magazine
Here is a fun series of illustrations I did for Prevention magazine about menopause. That’s right. I said menopause. I know. Why did a male get asked to do this job? Well I don’t know. All I know is that I like learning about new things and I love to make pictures so I thought it was a good idea. I had fun. It was challenging and I did learn a lot. I was reminded why I think women are so amazing.
